img-2999.jpgIn 2014, our J24 sails performed well on the biggest stage…the J24 Worlds!  Team Tarheel, who have been fantastic supporters of Dieball Sailing, took their brand new shapes to the Worlds in Newport and finished an ultra impressive 4th.

Our biggest gain in ’14 was in the development of our Genoas.  Our paneled version utilizes Dimension/Polyant BX Technora and comes in right at the class minimum weight, while showing tremendous shape holding.  Our D-CUT Membrane Genoa also utilizes Technora fibers, but in a custom load-path oriented layout.  Both sails perform great over the wide range and match up to our easy-to-tune tuning system.

Our D-CUT MH mainsail also went through a number of versions.  We’ve tweaked the vertical profile, while adding just the right amount of camber to perfectly match the symmetry of the slot between the Main & Genoa.

Our MAX-O radial spinnaker debuted just prior to the Worlds as well. Built from Bainbridge AIRX cloth, the balance between panel orientation and seam weight allows this thing to fly in 0-30+!
