Dieball Sailing at the J24 Midwinters

— filed under:

Debut of our designs yield great results!

Greg Griffin and Skip Allcorn teamed up this year for the J24 Midwinters on their boat Majic.  They are regulars out of the popular Jacksonville Fleet and felt that this winter's Midwinter Championship was the perfect learning opportunity as they get more familiar with the boat and the class.

Teamed up with past World Champ Will Jeffers for the 1st day certainly helped their learning curve as they posted some impressive top 5 finished through the 1st day.  Will's mojo was left behind and the team continued their good scores through days 2 & 3.

The last day proved tough for Team Majic.  The breeze was strong, temps cold and sailing difficult.  Nevertheless, they hit their goal of finishing in the Top 10.  This, coupled with hovering the top spot for much of the regatta, made the event a success for both Team Majic and Dieball Sailing.

J24 Membrane SailAfter the 1st day, Dieball Sailing continued their analysis and development by testing their new Membrane product.  Dieball Sailing has all the tools and access to top level membrane sail development.  Feel free to contact Ernie Dieball and Rick Rothenbuhler for more information.
