June 5/6 - Big Weekend for Dieball Sailing

Customers light up the various One Design & Offshore events!

What a weekend for the Dieball Sailing customers and friends!

CATTAIL REGATTA - Interlake
Congrats to Bob Bradley, Betsy Bradley and Chris Davis for winning the Cattail Regatta.  This one-day event at Jolly Roger Sailing Club is literally blocks from the loft and is a staple on the ISCA circuit.  Bob finished just in front of Mark Presley with crew Brian Hoy.  Both boats sported sails that were produced at Dieball Sailing HQ on Edgewater Dr!  Congrats!

DETROIT NOOD - T10
What a weekend for the T10ers in Detroit.  A variety of conditions with storms everywhere in the immediate area made changing gears essential.  Dieball Sailing customers finished 1,2,3 in this kick-off to the T10 season.  Congratulations to Doug Scheibner's team on Friendship for an impressive win and winning Boat of the Week and a trip to the BVI!  Second place when to the Sackett Family on Cracker and Third went to Todd Tigges's team on Hot Commodity.  You guys made us proud!

LIGHTNING PCCs - Lightning
Skip Dieball and his team traveled to Portland, OR to compete in this year's Pacific Coast Championships.  The host club a Vancouver Lake Sailing Club (Washington) did everything within their control, but mother nature decided that camaraderie on shore was the call for the weekend as there was little to no wind.  Skip and his team made the most of the weekend by hosting a clinic and meeting nearly all the Lightning Sailors in the Pacific Northwest District!  There was one race (which didn't meet the SIs requirement of "2 races make a series") and Dieball Sailing took 1,2,3!
